Day 6: What Do You Do

Today is about what I do ...
I have two jobs.
I am on my feet all day for both jobs.
One job I get to be the teacher when the regular classroom teacher is gone.
The other job I get to serve people food.
My day starts with the Pledge of Allegiance.
It ends with sweeping tables.
In between each day there is ...
attendance and lunch count
reading of stories
practicing spelling words and vocabulary
can I go to the bathroom?
glue and glitter everywhere
recess
no you cannot play dodgeball at school
can I get a drink of water?
math problems to be solved
science experiments
history
can I go to the bathroom?
taking drink orders
making bar drinks
taking food orders
is my food almost ready?
running around the restaurant with three plates stacked on one arm
bussing tables
making desserts
sweeping tables

Blog Every Day in May Day 4 & 5

Day Number Four: Favorite Quote & Why You Love It

“Be Yourself. Let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.”

- John Jakes

The first time I read this quote it immediately resonated with me.  It is about staying true to yourself.  It is about carrying yourself in a way that reflects what you believe in.  It is one thing to say what you believe - it is a another thing to constantly uphold yourself to your own values.

Day Number Five:  Blogger You Adore

I love ready this little mama to be's blog.  She is a California girl living in the South, which I can relate to.  Her blog focuses on adventures with her husband for their job, their gorgeous home in North Carolina, and more recently her pregnancy.  Grab a cup of coffee and read this blog.

Day 3: Things That Make You Uncomfortable

Things That Make Me Uncomfortable:

Guys at Victoria's Secret.  It makes it very awkward when you are shopping for panties.

Having to tell a table their credit card was declined.

When I am standing in line to check out and the people behind me are in my personal space.  Get off me!

When I am shopping and polietely say excuse me to go down an aisle and the person does not move.

When people are talking loudly so you can hear their entire conversation.

When someone is talking on their cell phone in a public bathroom.

Wet hair on the back of my shirt.

Not wearing a bra - I cannot do it.

Going on a water ride and getting soaking wet - I did it once and was wearing jeans and was so uncomfortable the rest of the day I now have an aversion to water rides.

When you are at a sporting event and have to say excuse twelve times just to leave your row to go get a drink or use the restroom.
